Today we are revising sentence types.
There are four types of sentences. They are: statements, commands, questions and exclamations.
Below is attached a ppt to refresh your memory and answer some questions.

Once you have either looked at the ppt or the two short video clips, move on to Activity 2 on the website.
Watch the video about a book called 'Sam Silver: Undercover Pirate'.
Before watching the video, write two question sentences that cover questions you have about the story,e g How long will the story be?

Now you've finished watching it, write two statement sentences explaining some of the things that happened in the story.

Test your knowledge by having a go at the quiz and/ or look at the ppt 'All about plants'
Go out in to your garden if you are able and look at the different plants that are there. Remember even weeds are plants!
Task
Either sit in your garden and complete a neat, observational sketch of a flower in your book or alternatively sketch one from a picture. Label the different parts. Write a sentence about why each part is important and the job it has to do. To help there is a 'Parts of a Plant Word Mat' attached below.
You may want to play the game of pairs as well .
