On the 7th June Whitebeam Class went out on a class trip to Thetford Forest. It took a while but we got there in the end. When we got there we were introduced to a dog that was going to help show us around.
First we went to look at a poisonous plant with purple spots. It was called hemlock. After that we collected things to make faces, then we made one big person altogether as a class. We used pine cones, leaves, grass, sticks and logs.
After that we collected sticks for a camp fire. Before we made the camp fire we used a cotton wool pad to practise on. Then we had lunch.
Finally it was time to light the camp fires and then go back to school.
My favourite bit was lighting the camp fires. I LOVED IT!!
