On Tuesday 15th May, parents and carers were invited into Whitebeam to take a look at some of the work the children have been doing on the local area. The children then showed off their skills by creating maps and plans of the village walk they did previously, by drawing or using collage. Some wonderful designs and imaginative use of materials emerged with the collaborative efforts of adults and children.
For their efforts the visitors were rewarded with cups of tea or coffee and chocolate biscuits, with several children proving to be successful waiters/waitresses of the future.
Thank you so much to those adults who were able to come in, the children loved having you there. We hope you enjoyed it as much as they did.
