Remembrance

As you know our topic this term is Remembrance. As part of this we have made some memorial posters which are now in display at the church. Because it is 100 years since World War One ended we copied all the names of the First World War soldiers who are recorded on the War Memorial in the churchyard, cut out poppies and an outline of a soldier, before putting it all together as our own memorial. We added some of our own thoughts as to what it must have been like for those men. Even though it was 100 years ago it has made us think why we must always remember them.
